Someone wisely said, “We plant trees to benefit future generations.” A monument to the strength of caring, The Tree Of Life is a loving memorial to our lost ones and a shining acknowledgement to the living. It is a constant reminder of our continuing hope for the future.

A gift to The Tree Of Life serves two noble purposes. You create a dignified, timeless memorial to honor someone who holds a special place in your heart while allowing the person’s memory to benefit the generations that follow. All proceeds are used to fund cancer education and other cancer programs at Catawba Valley Medical Center’s Community Hospital Comprehensive Cancer Program.

Gifts are often given in hope for a speedy recovery or in honor of birthdays, anniversaries or other special occasions. Each gift to The Tree Of Life is designated with a handsome Acknowledgement Card unless anonymity is specified by the donor. Donors may choose to either remember or honor with an engraved leaf or stone. Every leaf on The Tree Of Life represents a gift of $250 and is inscribed with the name of the individual you wish to honor or remember. After personalizing, your leaf will join the names of others who have fought the battle against cancer.

A limited number of stones will be placed around The Tree Of Life display in the sixth floor elevator lobby. Each may be inscribed with the name of the individual you wish to honor or memorialize and represents a gift of $500. These generous gifts symbolically support the very roots of The Tree Of Life.
