Christine Fox served as an employee and volunteer when Catawba Valley Medical Center (then called Catawba Memorial Hospital) opened in 1967. Her example set the standards that have since been followed by all medical center volunteers: cheerfulness, helpfulness, caring, and consideration.
The Christine Fox Memorial Wall was established to pay tribute to these qualities – and to recognize those who have provided those qualities in our patron’s lives. Patrons may choose to honor a special individual through recognition on the display, which features glazed green tiles with white lettering at the entrance to Catawba Valley Medical Center.
Participation in the Christine Fox Memorial Wall is possible through a $200 contribution. Funds raised through this program are dedicated to the Foundation’s general giving fund. To honor a loved one through this program, please contact us at 828/326-3210.
