Healthy Cooking and Nutrition | Print |

Dietary concerns are a big contributor to many illnesses, including obesity, diabetes, and heart disease.  At the Health First Center, we recognize that healthy eating is a big part of a healthy lifestyle.  We also know that making healthier food choices – and learning to prepare appetizing meals with them that the whole family can enjoy – can sometimes be a difficult task.

To help make this easier, the Health First Center offers cooking classes with nutritional information for a variety of healthful foods.  These classes are presented by both a chef and a registered dietitian who can answer food-related and cooking-related questions.  Recipes and techniques are shared to help make healthy foods a staple in every kitchen.  To learn about upcoming classes, please visit our current class schedule.
