Catawba Valley Medical Center (CVMC) recently recognized Anessa Avery, practice coordinator at Northeast Family Practice, as the January CARE employee of the month. A fellow employee made the following remarks when nominating Ms. Avery for the recognition: “Anessa is a great asset to Catawba Valley Medical Group. She is busy working wherever needed in our practice. Some days you may find her at the window checking in or checking out patients with a very caring, respectful attitude toward them and their families. Anessa works non-stop to keep Northeast Family Practice in compliance with The Joint Commission as well as state and hospital policies. She is knowledgeable in every aspect of the clinic while maintaining a positive atmosphere for all.”
