Catawba Valley Medical Center Announces 2008 Medical Staff Officers and Department Chiefs

Catawba Valley Medical Center recently announced its 2008 Medical Staff Officers and Department Chiefs, according to J. Anthony Rose, president and CEO. “Catawba Valley Medical Center is extremely fortunate that these physicians will be providing leadership for the hospital’s medical staff of more than 350 physicians,” Mr. Rose stated. Geoffrey DeLeary, MD, will serve as the 2008 Chief of Staff with Doug Michael, MD, as Chief-Elect of Staff and Charles Scheil, MD, as Secretary.
The following physicians are serving this year as Department Chiefs: Steven Williamson, MD, Emergency Medicine; Brian Vierling, MD, Family Practice; Carl Lomboy, MD, Medicine; Jason Walker, MD, Ob-Gyn; Mark Atkins, MD, Pathology; David Berry, MD, Pediatrics; Isabelle Eustice, MD, Psychiatry; John Bools, MD, Radiology, and James Harris, MD, Surgery.
