Catawba Valley Medical Center Recognizes March CARE Employee March 11, 2008 Catawba Valley Medical Center recently recognized Edonise Lewis, rehabilitation technician in rehabilitation services, as the March CARE employee. Following are remarks offered in nominating Ms. Lewis: “She makes sure we have everything we need in order to give our patients what they need in order to get well. She knows how to calm situations and keep levity in patient care. Returning patients always ask for her by name. Her peers look forward to working with her because she always has a smile and lifts up whoever works with her. I have heard a family member describe her as a comfort to their family.
