CVMC Recognizes Nancy Anderson as 2007 CARE Employee of the Year
March 17, 2008
Catawba Valley Medical Center (CVMC) recognizes each month a single employee who epitomizes CARE—one who embodies Courtesy, Attitude, Respect and Enthusiasm for commitment to maintaining a positive guest relations atmosphere and to demonstrating a sincere compassion and concern for patients and fellow staff members. At the end of the calendar year, one employee is chosen from the twelve recognized throughout the year and is named “CARE Employee of the Year.” CVMC recently announced Nancy Anderson received this high honor for 2007, according to J. Anthony Rose, president and CEO of the facility.
The distribution supervisor in the Materials Management department, Ms. Anderson is a certified/registered central supply technician who received her accreditation from Purdue University in 1992. She has been an employee of CVMC for 22 years. “I am very honored to be recognized as CARE 2007 Employee of the Year,” said Ms. Anderson. “I love what I do at the hospital and work with a great group of people who make it special. I look forward to coming to work and doing what is necessary to take care of our patients and my co-workers.”
Ms. Anderson and her husband Donald Anderson live in Statesville.
Catawba Valley Medical Center is a not-for-profit, public healthcare system providing and promoting the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual well-being of the public in addition to serving as a center for health education, wellness services, preventative medicine and acute care.
