March 18th
Annual Program Kick-Off beginning at 8:00 a.m. in the Food Court. RSVP to the Health First Center by March 11th.

May 20th
Beginning at 9:00 a.m. in the Health First Center. RSVP to the Health First Center by May 13th.

August 19th
Beginning at 9:00 a.m. in the Health First Center. RSVP to the Health First Center by August 12th.

November 18th
Beginning at 9:00 a.m. in the Health First Center. RSVP to the Health First Center by November 11th.

Most recommendations for improving your health include a suggestion for at least 30 minutes of aerobic exercise a day. The Mallwalkers Program, offered by Valley Hills Mall in conjunction with Catawba Valley Medical Center’s Health First Center, offers a climate-controlled environment that is perfect for year-round walking.

 

Walking is one of the easiest and most common activities that you can add to your daily routine. It requires very little preparation other than good shoes and a desire to succeed. Walking doesn't need to interfere with work demands and can even be incorporated into a normal workday, if desired, by adding a walk to your lunch hour.

 

We believe that people who make walking a part of their everyday activities will feel better mentally, physically, and emotionally, and be more productive as a result. Mall entrances open at 7:00 a.m. Monday-Saturday and 10:30 a.m. on Sundays for your walking convenience.
