The hospital receives notably high ratings for courtesy of doctors and nurses. The hospital also performs well in providing patients with emotional support, particularly the treatment of family and friends. “We value the relationships we develop with our patients and their families, and we believe that the opinions of our patients are the greatest measures of our success,” says J. Anthony Rose, President and CEO of Catawba Valley Medical Center. “We are so pleased our patients have recognized us again for our quality of care. I commend our staff and physicians for their continued dedication and commitment to achieving excellence.” Nearly 70 percent of Catawba Valley Medical Center patients surveyed say they recommend the facility to friends and family, and 73 percent say they would return to the facility if needed.
