Catawba Valley Medical Center Announces 2003 Medical Staff Officers and Department Chiefs
Catawba Valley Medical Center recently announced its 2003 Medical Staff Officers and Department Chiefs, according to J. Anthony Rose, president and CEO. “Catawba Valley Medical Center is extremely fortunate that these physicians will provide leadership for the hospital’s medical staff of more than 290 physicians,” Mr. Rose stated. Frank Mauldin, MD, will serve as the 2003 Chief of Staff, with T. Reginald Williams, MD, as Chief-Elect of Staff and Nitin Shenoy, MD, as Secretary.
The following physicians are serving this year as Department Chiefs: Medicine – Robert Yapundich, MD; Surgery – Ronald Locke, MD; Pediatrics – David Millsaps, MD; Psychiatry – Andrew Shaw, MD; Radiology – Charles Scheil, MD; Emergency Medicine – Steven Williamson, MD; Pathology – Mark Atkins, MD; Obstetrics/Gynecology – Robert Highland, MD, and Family Practice – David Peltzer, MD.
