Catawba Valley Medical Center recognizes each month a single employee who epitomizes CARE-one who embodies Courtesy, Attitude, Respect and Enthusiasm for commitment to maintaining a positive guest relations atmosphere and to demonstrating a sincere compassion and concern for patients and fellow staff members. At the end of the calendar year, one employee is chosen from the twelve recognized throughout the year and is named "CARE Employee of the Year." CVMC recently announced Ann Moore received this high honor for 2006, according to J. Anthony Rose, president and CEO of the facility.
A coordinator in the Organizational Learning department, Ms. Moore is a registered nurse who has been a medical center employee since February 2004. "I can't imagine a greater honor as an employee of Catawba Valley Medical Center," said Ms. Moore. "I feel so proud because there are so many deserving employees at this medical center. I am honored to work with all of them."
Ms. Moore also holds the degrees of Master of Science in Nursing and Certified Emergency Nurse. She and husband, Shane, have two daughters, Carrie and Carlie.
