Catawba Valley Medical Center recently recognized John Thompson as its CARE Employee for March and Beth Joyce for April, according to Mark Turner, CVMC Vice President of Operations.
Thompson, Environmental Services supervisor, was noted by nominators as “very caring and team oriented” and “always with a smile.” Another penned “He does whatever is asked of him and more.”
Ms. Joyce is a radiologic technologist IV in CVMC’s Radiologic Imaging department. Her nominators described her as “very resourceful” and “willing to go above and beyond normal care.”
Catawba Valley Medical Center’s CARE employee, nominated monthly by employees and guests, embodies Courtesy, Attitude, Respect and Enthusiasm for commitment to maintaining a positive guest relations atmosphere and to demonstrating a sincere compassion and concern for patients and fellow staff members.
