Blood Drive July 3, 2003 Give The Gift of Life: Blood Drive Friday, July 11 at HealthFirst Center Throughout the country, generous Americans have been donating blood since the terrorist attacks Sept. 11 to ensure a sustained and secure blood supply for all Americans. Together with the Red Cross, these blood heroes are ensuring that the safest possible blood is readily available whenever and wherever needed—for the military, for other blood centers in America and for all 5,000 of America’s hospitals. To help the American Red Cross ensure the country’s blood supply is adequate, Catawba Valley Medical Center is hosting a blood drive on Friday, July 11 from 12 noon to 4:30 p.m. at CVMC’s HealthFirst Center at Valley Hills Mall.
