CARE Employee Recognized June 5, 2007 CVMC Recognizes June CARE Employee

Catawba Valley Medical Center recently recognized Julia Peters, RN, in the Birthing Center, as its June CARE employee. A patient family member offered the following remarks in nominating Ms. Peters: “Julia was really helpful in my wife’s labor process. She offered many helpful suggestions to aid her in easing pain with contractions. She went above and beyond what I would have ever expected to receive. Julia was never far away if anything was needed and she was continuous in her efforts to make sure my wife and our families were as comfortable as we all could be.” Catawba Valley Medical Center’s CARE employee, nominated monthly by employees and guests, embodies Courtesy, Attitude, Respect and Enthusiasm for commitment to maintaining a positive guest relations atmosphere while demonstrating a sincere compassion and concern for patients and fellow staff members.
