Catawba Valley Medical Center's (CVMC) Respiratory Care department staff members recently named Lori Dennis as the medical center's 2006 Respiratory Care Therapist of the year, according to Scott Gibson, Cardiopulmonary/Neurodiagnostic Services co-director.
Employed with CVMC for the last 10 years, Ms. Dennis is a member of the Neonatal Transport Team and is a Neonatal Resuscitation Program instructor with extensive experience in all aspects of respiratory care.
"Lori was chosen because of her willingness to go the extra mile to help a patient or fellow employee whenever needed," said Gibson. "Her positive attitude and depth of experience make her a great role model for current therapists and new graduates."
Ms. Dennis lives in Claremont with her husband and two children.
