Catawba Valley Medical Center’s Mobile Mammography Unit is a complete, state-of-the-art mammography screening center that can be transported to various locations.  The unit annually visits more than 40 companies, health care providers, and organizations in the Catawba Valley area to provide approximately 7,000 mammograms and bone density screenings to employees and patients.  Staffed by certified CVMC medical personnel, the unit features a leading-edge digital mammography machine, a bone density machine, a consultation area, and private changing areas for patients.
