 Shital Patel, M.D., an internal medicine and pediatrics physician, is accepting new patients at Catawba Valley Family Care in downtown Newton, and is part of Catawba Valley Medical Group's network of physicians. After receiving her medical degree from Wake Forest University School of Medicine, Dr. Patel completed her Internal Medicine and Pediatrics residency at University of Texas Houston. She has been certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Board of Pediatrics, and is a member of the North Carolina Medical Society.
