Saturday Office Hours: 9:00am- 1:00pm After receiving his medical degree from the University of Wisconsin Medical School, Dr. Witke completed his internship at the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Peoria and his family practice residency at Methodist Medical Center. Board certified in Family Medicine and licensed by the State of North Carolina Board of Medicine, he is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians.
Dr. Shane Summers Graduated from Ohio State University Medical School. Completed internship at St. Margaret's Memorial Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Subsequently completed family practice residency program at Akron General Medical Center in Akron, Ohio. He has practiced in the Hickory area since 1994.
Dr. Mary Ference-Valenta, FAAFP After receiving her medical degree from The Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine, Dr. Ference-Valenta completed an internship at Saint Vincent Medical Center in Toledo, Ohio and then her residency at The Toledo Hospital. She is board certified in family medicine and a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians. Prior to moving to Hickory, she practiced medicine for twelve years in Kent, Ohio.
