Dr. Steven Sanderson and Dr. Jason Kihneman welcome you to Catawba Valley Family Medicine -North Hickory. Dr. Sanderson and Dr. Kihneman manage acute and chronic illnesses, treat acute injuries, perform minor office surgeries and, when necessary, refer you to an appropriate specialist. Dr. Steven Sanderson

After receiving his medical degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, Dr. Sanderson completed his Family Medicine residency at Duke University Medical Center. He and his wife Eleanor have four children. Dr. Sanderson’s personal interests include motorcycles, running, cycling and astronomy.

 

 

 

 

 Dr. Jason Kihneman

Now accepting new patients, Dr. Kihneman earned his medical degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, Texas and completed his Family Medicine residency at the McLennan County Medical Education and Research Foundation in Waco, Texas. Dr. Kihneman is board certified in Family Medicine and a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians. He and his wife Sarah are the parents of four sons Sam, Henry, Max, and Charlie. He enjoys traveling, hiking, running, and spending time with his family.
