CLIMB
Children’s Lives Include Moments of Bravery
A cancer diagnosis is difficult for all family members, especially children. CLIMB is a program that helps children when confronting their feelings towards cancer, while also stimulating communication between children and their parent(s) or grandparent(s) coping with cancer.
FREE 6 Consecutive Weekly Meetings Tuesdays 6-7:30pm For Kids Ages 5-12
Please pre-register by contacting Barbara Stark, Oncology Social Worker, 828/326-3397 or [email protected]
After the 6 week CLIMB session, participants are encouraged to attend PALS (Providing Awareness, Love and Support), an ongoing support program that meets the 2nd Tuesday of each month.
