The Steps Into The Future program provides an opportunity to pay special tribute to any child born at Catawba Valley Medical Center through a permanent display in the Birthing Center.  All proceeds are designated specifically toward meeting needs within the Center for Women and Children.

The display features silver medallions engraved with the names, birth dates, and footprints of babies born in the center.  Bronzed medallions, which commemorate children who were with us for too short a time, are also available.  Patrons receive two medallions – one to keep, and one to place in the display.
