Our Physician Relations and Services Department provides a personal link between you, your practice and Catawba Valley Medical Center. Our physician and technical services representatives call upon physician practices, hospitals and other provider groups within our community, our primary and secondary service areas providing reliable and up-to-date information regarding Catawba Valley Medical Center's clinical services and physician resources.
Services Provided
- Physician recruitment, placement and relocation
- Complete facility and community orientation for new physicians
- In person education and communication on Catawba Valley Medical Center clinical services and the Medical Staff community
- A personal contact for physicians and office staff for concerns, questions, or positive feedback
- Dedicated technical services including CVMC Information System liaison, custom intranet processes and specialty software applications
- Physician speaking engagements, inclusions in tours and in-service training
- Continuing Medical Education

Physician and Industrial Services
Primary point of contact at CVMC for all service, resource development and delivery, information exchange, relationship maintenance, and problem solving for over 100 physician practices and 400 privileged physicians. Coordinates regular and frequent interaction and communication forums for these groups and distributes monthly and periodic topical newsletters and advisories to them and over 600 area employers.

Spearheads the development, customization, implementation and maintenance of all CVMC clinical/administrative technical processes, electronic interface and specially designed software applications for the practices and physicians within CVMC's service areas. Coordinates the troubleshooting, reconciliation, restoration and upgrade of all technical services between individual users and the CVMC Information Systems Department.
